Re: President Biden
I'll say this about him (Trump) though.
Over and over an over, I found myself saying to his staunchest defenders, "All he had to do was not tweet----" Or "all he had to do was not ---"
Trump's Achilles heel is and was praise. Anyone inclined to tell him how great he is visibly raises his countenance. But ultimately, the giant Trump Flags apparently became an audience he refused to disappoint at any level.
But let's talk about that Twitter account.
I can't tell you how many friends of mine thought he was playing 4D Chess by making fun of Mika Brzezinski's plastic surgery leaks. Or how he called a porn star by which he cheated on Melania "Horse Face."
Or how he teargassed protesters 20 minutes before a curfew to pose with a Bible in of a church in DC.
All of this bellicose and unnecessary. People that know I voted for him would repeatedly ask me "How can you justify--?" and I'd have to simply say "I can't."
No matter what anyone thinks, he lost his suburban moms with this boorish behavior.
And yes, I'm aware of the riots, the burning, Antifa and all of it. I am fully aware the world doesn't hold an even standard.
But when you take that appalling "Squad" of haters and loathers, and give them the high ground by tweeting the phrase "Go back," you are really kind of stupid--or tone deaf, not knowing the minefield of "things you don't say."
Or, when the left is burning down the Capitol, you Tweet "when the looting starts, the shooting starts."
He repeatedly handed them the high ground, trying to impress the base. All because he could not control the most unruly member of the body.
And believe me, I'm no Lincoln Project guy. But he's done plenty of damage, and if he doesn't get in front of any planned violence for the 20th, it will show what he truly cares about.
