By invoking the Insurrection Act he would be putting the Posse Comitatus Act on hold, and allow the people of the United States to be under a military rule. Just as Caesar when he rode with his legions into the city of Rome. Brother, I honestly don't know what you are wanting to achieve. Do you have children? Do you have a wife? Are you part of a church fellowship with women and children? We as Christians pray for our leaders that we be kept in peace. In other words, that they leave us alone.
Bro, civilians in a war situation on their own land is not a good look at any speed. Lines of refugees from a burned out bombed out cities can't be what you are looking for. Because that is what happened with the last Civil War in the United States.
While I don't think that will happen, because no matter how virtuous you believe Trump to be, he wants to get on with the show. If Biden gets in that is what the Lord wants, because that is what we as a people so much deserve. Maybe having a president with dementia, and a silly twit as a VP will bring us to our knees of repentance and prayer? Don't you think we need that more than the 4th of July, sweet tea, and cheesy corn bake eaten to the tune, "I'm proud to be an American?"

I'm actually thinking of Cincinnatus.

Yes, forsaking the plow to become a dictator. Then as soon as the emergency is over return to the plow. He was a hero to the old Republic at a time the Republic wasn't corrupt. Yet, it is a the people who create a Lucius Cornelius Sulla. There is where the die was cast. Julius Caesar was a ripe apple which the people were awaiting to pick. God places rulers above us, we so much want, and so much deserve. God wants to be our King, but sadly we want no king but Caesar. We so desire a king like all the other nations.

Re: Trump can't leave office
I spent the last three days of last week up in the Washington area, Olympia to be exact...
What a depressing place that the west coast is now.
The lockdown is killing Washington, Oregon and Cali. I don't see how people can continue to live that way and we did see people resisting the tyranny.
We stopped at a little Christian run restaurant just above the Washington border just as they opened. Was met by an armed group of protesters who where protesting the governor's decree. Armed to the teeth and ready for whatever to happen.
Wen a little further north to pick up the equipment and was met by more disgruntled people. They were kind to us but you could tell that they were not happy with their government.
Felt like a powder keg ready to go off.
The dems are going to try to do that to the entire country and then.... BOOM!

Re: Trump can't leave office
Has anyone given any thought as to why the dems are talking about doing away with the local police?
My thoughts on this are that they want to do away with the local police and sheriffs who have already proved their loyalty to Trump and install a national police which will be loyal to the hierarchy. That way they can order the police to enforce the rules which the local police are now disregarding.

The Clintons were the first to come up with the idea of getting rid of the posse comitatus act. Being policed by military will get everyone in jail. Hey, if that happens more ice cream for Nancy!!!
