Romans 9:5 (AV -PCE-Pure Cambridge Edition)
Whose are the fathers,
and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came,
who is over all,
God blessed for ever.
Amen.
Here you can see that the AV simply takes the Greek word order, while many other translations do a lot of mix-up.

Granted, the punctuation is a second issue, however from my studies modern translators love to mix up the word order to match their doctrinal perspectives.
Christ is put after "as concerning the flesh" and "came" is implied, in italics.

Do you see Rom 1.25 as speaking to this issue as well?
"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. Thus, seeing Christ we see God. Thus, Christ is in fact God - the only God we will or can ever know, see, perceive, understand, relate to, etc.

I think Romans 1:25 sheds some light on Romans 9:5, as both verses use the same formulaic expression "blessed for ever, amen." In the first case, the Creator is blessed for ever. This indicates to me that in the second verse the phrase is "God" is said to be 'blessed for ever".
Which then to me indicates that 9:5 is saying Christ is God, who is blessed for ever, rather than saying Christ is blessed by God for ever.
