I don't watch it, but hubby does loves it.

So what are easter eggs?

Each of these instructions I have listed... each one is, according to various websites, XP easter eggs....ie hidden keys, programs etc.

The easter eggs used to be more substantial. I remember one time they had one where a program opened where you could use your mouse to fly over a mars type landscape.

But more will probably surface over time.

I haven't tried all of these... just listing them.

Ok, there is a secret file in Windows XP called "quotes". In order to get there you must be somewhat familiar with how to use Windows, simply open up My Computer (explorer) and double click on your main drive (probably C next navigate to: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\etc This is where the quotes file is. Open the file named quotes in your favorite text editor (notepad, MS Word) then look at the quotes put there by the MS developers!

It may have been a developer file in the Beta version. Win98 Chicago Project had such files.

They are not in the RC or the SP versions.

what you open isn't what you typed.
Doesn't work on Vista. It's the same.
