There is nothing in the book positive about beards. Point being though we keep hearing how no one teaches these things this book is sold through the UPC (PPH) organization to this day.
You might think if indeed they are starting to wake up out of the years of darkness they would at least stop sanctioning this type of literature among their group.

Can the book be read online? PDF or some form?
The blog at the link below has some good rebuttals to some of the stuff in Gore's book. Unfortunately, the blogger never finished his work which began in early 2012.

Not UPCI, but John Carroll and Phil Endris (WPF?) discuss beards.
Typical viewpoint. No Bible against it, but as Pastors require men in leadership to be clean shaven.

Those folks didnt have the Holy Ghost, the laws of God were not written in their hearts and minds.
So what does that tell us about common situations today?

Re: To Beard or Not to Beard, That is The Question
I first bought the Chancy Gore book at the Somerset campmeeting last year in July. I had hoped between now and then they would have dropped it. We all hear NOBODY PREACHES AGAINST BEARDS. And NOBODY says it is "sin" or "wrong".
And yet I checked last night and lo and behold his book is still being sold by Pentecostal Publishing House, meaning it is sanctioned by the UPC as I demonstrated last year when we discussed this.
BTW out of the hundreds of men there last night I saw one other man with a beard. That is down from last year! I'm sure there are Churches out there that ARE awakening to the truth. Yet I assume there is a stronghold among leadership that just wants the issue to go away.

Tells me that man kind has not changed. The Old Testament is for our learning. The Holy Ghost does not take away the carnal flesh. If what you are saying is the case why read the Bible twice?

What I am saying is a people bent on backsliding is a people who need the Holy Ghost.
Regardless of what the sign over the door says.
