So apparently the wonderful 5G technology that will make everything great by turning every appliance into an internet connected spyware device is also the same technology used in military DEWs (Direct Energy Weapons). The embassy staff that got zapped in Cuba, remember them? Supposedly the same technology? So a basic pain-compliance mind manipulation population control and surveillance grid, marketed as the coolest thing since sliced bread?
And eventually operating from "outer space", so none of the slaves on Maggie's Farm can do anything about it once it's operational? Skynet 2.0?
