Getting hearts right and overcoming fleshly issues include overcoming pagan religious customs and idolatrous practices.

Have you heard of Mark Hogancamp, a veteran who has created really detailed dioramas?

Re: Christmas is pagan
Marwencol is a miniature town in Kingston, New York, created by the American artist Mark Hogancamp.
On April 8, 2000, Mark Hogancamp was attacked outside of a bar by five men who beat him nearly to death after he told them he was a cross-dresser. After nine days in a coma and 40 days in the hospital, Hogancamp was discharged with brain damage that left him little memory of his previous life. Unable to afford therapy, he created his own by building a ⅙-scale World War II-era Belgian town in his yard and populating it with dolls representing himself, his friends, and even his attackers. He called the town "Marwencol," blending the names "Mark," "Wendy" and "Colleen."

Re: Christmas is pagan
OK here we go with our annual tradition of beating up Christmas because of its pagan origins.
OK, so you are right 100% percent and Christmas comes from pagan origins and no Jesus was not born anywhere around Christmas.
That is not important, because we as Christians are to use every opportunity to mention the name of Jesus and spread his name everywhere. We are the leaven of this world, we need to infuse Christmas with the name of Jesus as much as we can, we need to make mention of his name as much as we can around this time.
Instead of abandoning these days to the pagans, we need to play those Carols that mention his name and remind people of his coming, we need to keep the name of Jesus in the minds of the worldly people.

Wrong, that's called spiritual adultery.

Seriously? I saw a trailer for a movie about it, but it conveniently leaves that part out. Just shows he was attacked outside a bar but didn't say why.
I've seen several photos of his work... Incredibly detailed stuff.

Right thats my point. If we will fuss over a Christmas tree than we better be prepared to fuss over images, dolls, pictures, carvings, wooden Indians etc.
lets not go swallowing camels.

So is it safe to say you believe anyone who celebrates it will end up lost?

So do you believe a child's doll is a violation of the second commandment?
