I flush the antifreeze from all vehicles every year, the maximum is every four years. In competition all the time. Antifreeze 50/50 is super corrosive, and will destroy all in its path. Cooling system failure is because of our antifreeze lack of maintenance. Another must be changed or die is the fuel filter. Also never ever ever ever ever use cheap oil filters. Always check the battery, make sure any water replacement is distilled water. No maintenance battery is a myth IF it still has caps. Anything that opens and you can see the liquid means you need to maintain that level.

Gone are the days where a mechanic would test your radiator fluid, or stick a hydrometer into your battery to test the cells. 300,000 miles on a car? Not us, we buy cars like we buy toilet paper. The cars of today are awesome, wonderful machines. Everything from lawnmowers to big rigs, beautiful. The sad thing is that no one takes care of them in the hope that they would be handed down to the next generation.

I personally am not a Honda fan, due to the replacement parts cost. Plus Honda cares little for the technician. Other than that you will have a reliable machine if it is maintained well. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use HONDA OEM filters. Or extremely high end replacements. Never put a cheap filter on any vehicle. Never put one even on the passenger seat, let alone on the engine.

You and your taillight bearings.
Did you ever get them fixed?

Fix a flat is a Zionist Jesuit Russian Mormon plot to destroy tires.
