We're the last in line, clinging bitterly to our Bibles and vbulletin software. Move not the ancient landmark, and all.

At least we have depth of discussion and some great teachers here without having to see pictures every meal and comments about all the mundane moments in people's life.

I tend to believe that this place is definitely not a good representation of 'apostolic' anymore. It used to be much more when I first joined but I think we have ran off many of those posters. I'm sure my posting contributed and for that I am sorry. It's not nearly the same place anymore IMO.

That said I think this place now is more about testing our own ideas amongst each other than any kind of fellowship or anything like that. We seem to use it to get feedback on our ideas moreso than for anything else.

Maybe the problem is that the cumuliation of all the ideas tested here has finally touched on every subject in depth, even the subjects true apostolics revere and that going back and forth constantly on the same subjects with no new viewpoints ever gets old fast.

I'm not saying the forum is dying, but we have hit rock bottom in membership and posts. Though that's possibly trending upwards again. I think forums in general are not the preferred pastime. I also think apostolics in general have allowed more and more entertainment into their lives in general and that's probably filling the time some may have used to pursue religious discussion.

Is it time for Apostolic Friends World? A place with more modern content and where this forum is only a small part? Just thinking aloud there...
