If CC1 don't like him, then I probably do.

Since you can't seem to understand what I am saying I will try to be clearer. Yes I don't mind sharing I found the man offensive and not Christ like in his sermon. However I will not state the extent of my feelings about what I heard out of his mouth and what the opinon it gave me of him because it would be the strongest condemnation I have ever given to any preacher i have ever heard and I know many ultra cons that are friends hold him in high esteem.
My point being I gave a general observation of my opinion of him but declined to fully express myself because I don't want to offend and it surely would.
Sorry if the distinction escapes you.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Yes, in the sermon I heard he talked about his success in building that church extensively.

CC1, what more could you of said? If you said nothing you would have more leverage in your own defense. But you, like I said couldn't help yourself. Like string dangled before a kitten.

Bro, your first post reply gives us your point. From what you posted we all get your meaning, and opinion on the elder. Any worse? Go into detail, why? Your above is wax on wax off.

Bro, so, you don't think you said enough? CC1, my point still stands, you still had to say something. What you did say would be considered offensive to anyone who loved the elder. So, actually what more could of been said that after what you originally posted wouldn't appear as white noise to those who respected the elder? CC1, I understand where you are coming from. You have for your avatar David M. Wasmundt's Neo-Phariseeism. So posting Elder Westberg is the equivalent to a red flag before a bull for you. The surprise would be if you posted that you listened to his preaching and posted that you felt Christ.

Pay Benincasa no mind. He's a one trick pony.
I had the same feeling you did about the sermon I heard. "A self evaluation". Absolutely no love, all doctrine and contempt for anyone else. "I wish someone would put a spear through the heart of these trinitarian loving dudes".
I think Christ would say "ye know not what manner of spirit you are of".

Looks like little Jason Badejo got convicted by Elder Westberg's preaching.
Yeah Jaybird, you are just a bundle of loving humble piety. You are the Bomb from Gilead.

"A self examination" that was a good one. More Elder Westberg coming tommorow then, that settles it! Lol Dead or alive, the good elder draws a line in the sand. Y'all can say what you want, but thats for real Apostolic authority.
I notice the Liberals can't stand his guts. They truthfully hate the man. Although, most claim he had hate the other way. But their attitude towards him, reveal their thoughts and intents of the heart. IJS
