Worse than the genocidal murder of millions of American Indians?
Worse than slavery?
Worse than Child labor?
Women's suffrage?
Worse than blacks being denied civil rights?
Worse than Pearl Harbor?
Worse than internment camps for the Japanese and others?
Worse than Vietnam?
Worse than 9/11?
Worse than nearly 16 years of fighting the GWT?
Obamacare wasn't the fix we needed, on that we can agree. But it was hardly the worst thing to ever happen to America.
Hey, when you calculate the worst things that take place in our country... why don't you count the tens of thousands (an estimated 40,000 to 45,000) who were dying every year from treatable conditions simply because they didn't have insurance or the means to pay for procedures and specialists they needed? Honestly, that in and of itself is worse than Obamacare.

So I tried to pass it off with a joke. But I'm sorry about your Mom, but no one ever died on accident bro! God has a plan, and when that plan is up, it's up for each and everyone of us. No one is living a day longer then what God appointed for us. The day we were born, there was already a day set for us to die. Take solace in His love, and keep your mind stayed on Him. He holds all things in His hand. "Even the wrath of man shall yet praise Him", so nothing can happen He didn't already for see.

Do you support gun rights? Do you believe Christians should have guns to protect their homes? Because if you take that teaching to its logical conclusion, there's no need to even worry about bearing arms. In fact, it would only demonstrate a lack of faith. For after all, no man, woman, or child will go before their time, right???

But I'm sorry bro if that was a touchy area. I just was cracking a joke. I didn't know, please forgive me.

I forgive you, bro. I really only wanted to clarify my reason for my position. It's all good. No hard feelings.
I just wanted you to know the
why behind my support for universal healthcare. It's not because I'm a communist. It's not because I'm a traitor. It's not because I'm a left-wing extremist. It's because people have died from things that could have been treated, and their only downfall was not having the money or the insurance for the treatments or specialists they needed. Yet the government can spend trillions in corporate subsidies, tax cuts for the ultra rich, wars without end, and a bloated prison system that is totally unnecessary, etc., etc..
Meanwhile, tens of thousands die every year from treatable conditions, roads and bridges are collapsing, civil infrastructure has become unsafe in many cases and WAY outdated, wages are depressed and haven't risen to meet the increased cost of living nearly forcing both parents to work just to stay afloat (meanwhile CEOs have never made more, and politicians give themselves repeated raises), labor standards are collapsing, clean water is increasingly becoming an issue, and the United States has a greater percentage of her population in prison per capita than any other nation on the planet... over a plant that gives you a "whisky-like" buzz, bouts of laughter, and the munchies. Then consider, we have a reality show television star for a President.
We're well on our way to becoming a banana republic.
I believe we can afford health insurance for all Americans, and focus much of our resources on the domestic home front where the American people could actually see the benefits of their tax dollars at work.
