Re: Extremely blue
You should want a relationship with God and to be part of a church family but not because someone has put fear in your mind that if you don't do that you will commit suicide. That is hogwash. I would love to see someone show stats that folks who leave church commit suicide in any greater percentage than any other group of people.
No church is perfect because they are made up of imperfect people and imperfect leaders but find one where the vast majority of the people and leadership are honest hearted and seeking after Christ with all of their heart and you can find peace, joy, comfort, and strength from a relationship with God and the support and fellowship of such a church.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
