I didn't read that portion of what he said on the transcript. It appeared to be left out. Sometimes they edit to add it in later, but at the time I was listening and following the transcript, it wasn't added in.

On a side note, they have horrible transcribers at C-Span.

These are great people, Christian Patriots All, on a wonderful journey of discovering that there is no such thing. Trade me some cake, and flowers, and t shirts, for my hemp, and my goat's milk, and my eggs, and politely refuse to pay taxes (or vote, or talk to police--except in the Public Interest), which are always the clue that you are completely sucked in to the world, and have made yourself subject to the Law.

See how there can be no case--as distinct from the guy with an airtight case, who has no case--against trading, because there is no law; and not because they haven't tried, they have tried mightily. There might even be some slippery ordinance somewhere, that no one can enforce, of course, and one need have no fear of even advertising their desire to trade--it's all over CL--because if they get sued, they am going to win.

ok, and since "no one can buy or sell" up there is a physical reflection, and will give the wrong impression to gay people, i should say that the law is a good one, for people under the law, and that since this is such a big "issue," and the sky is falling for everyone on this, that the spiritual reflection of "no one can buy or sell..." is what the law is fighting here, perhaps, because God does not care what you write on a cake or a t shirt, God cares that people be treated as equal.

Now, since you do not accept this, because you have passages that you have been assured mean a certain thing, and have to be read a certain way, i invite you to post them, and we'll take a look. Because i don't know what i'm talking about here, all i have is an opinion too. And i wouldn't be writing stuff on t shirts that didn't sit well with me, either, most likely.

This thread isn't about you. It's about the people in the video who are being targeted for their Christian faith.

ok and before we go much further, let me say that i agree there is a problem. but i am seeing that gays are being portrayed as the problem, when they are just the symptom here. So licentiousness is being reflected, from the spiritual into the physical, and the physical is being portrayed as the problem that needs to be fixed, fought, taken to court--into the court of the world--playing right into unseen hands, walking into a buzz saw.

now i can go on, if the problem is not yet clear, but if you are offended by that then you are really going to be offended at my characterization of the problem, which i'm just a guy who is prepared to sleep under a bridge and eat purslane and lamb's quarters if i have to, what do i know. The very best thing that could happen here for Patriotic Christians is to write whatever other people also under the law want written on their cakes and t-shirts, PO.
