Curious, how can someone read the book of Acts where it talks about prophetesses, and acknowledge that women preachers have established churches that exist even to this day, and yet say they don't believe in women preachers?

It's not that people don't believe in the EXISTENCE of women preachers. It's that people do not believe such is authorized by the Bible.

More like, 'I don't believe in socialism. Hey, look at Bernie...'

Sounds like a can o worms. A husband can't give the ok for his wife to be a preacher. Where in the scripture do we find that?
