Sad thing to happen...wonder where the oneness folks were? I do not personally agree with most death bed "repentance" stories however I am not God....and confessing to a priest I sure do not think that changes eternity for him or anyone....however wish someone that knows the plan of salvation would have been present.
I had somewhere in my books "The Ragmuffin Gospel" ...I read it several times over the years...different to say the least but did have some touching stories it in...more touching was my sister that gave it to me and said, Janice, I am a ragmuffin....

Interesting!
I recommend watching the movie The Sarlet and the Black. It's a true story of
A priest who worked undercover in Nazi Germany. Very inspiring.

If you believe the Acts 2:38 message and you are not out there 100% of the time telling it, then you don't believe it at all or have no compassion for the lost. Or maybe, just maybe, you fear you might not be right after all.

I am a firm believer in Acts 2:38 being a foundation scripture for salvation however I am very touched by those who do far more "works" than we do. One of the most precious couples I ever met was Pastor Richard Wurmbrand and his sweet wife.....oh, my I hope I stand no where near them on judgment day....
