I love to walk early in the morning in our neighborhood. The birds are chirping and it is so peaceful. I love to walk and meditate on Christ. It seems that I can really hear from God because I don't have so many other distractions.

Esther.............I hope everything comes out alright! But a little advice.........If you have to have a c-section, by faith you won't, tell the doctors you want the cathedar in AFTER they numb you! lol I told them that and one nurse said it is routine that they do it before you go down to the prep room....I said "routine nothing, I am paying for this and I have the best insurance and I WILL have it done after I get my spinal!!!!!!!!" and I got it after my spinal!!!!!!!!!!

But we are believing you are not going to have this evil diabetes and that you will have a healthy natural birth in JESUS name!!!!!!!

More urgent prayer

THank you ladies for all your wonderful encouragement!!!! It is re-assuring. Of course one of the first person's I talked to about this yesterday told me a horror story of someone she works with who had this and all her complications, I wanted to rebuke her in Jesus Name! LOL!

Right now I need immediate prayer if you don't mind. THe baby must have her foot up in my ribs (my torso is VERY short) and I have been in severe pain all night, when I got up this morning and started getting ready for work it eased up slightly but now the severe pain is back. I can't even hardly breath or talk it hurts so bad. I have been strectching and moving and pushing slightly on the baby and I am getting NO relief!! I cannot handle having these pains all day. Please pray that the baby moves or the pain would ease up. THank you!!

I have had 4 C sections--I got the catheter after the spinal for my 3rd son. I opted to have it done before the spinal the 4th time because I felt it was more of a modest setting....lol

There were so many people in the operating room and when it is done before it was just me and a nurse or 2 in my room.

Thank you STS, the pain is somewhat better right now. I still keep getting sharp pains in my ribcage when I move a certain way, take deep breathes, laugh, cough etc......I have tried everything and just can't seem to get her to move. I guess I just don't have enough room in the midsection for her.

not the most modest of subjects - but I too had a c-section...I had my catheter put in before, actually the day before, my c-section got post poned a day at the last minute....

it was much less, ummm, embarassing to have it done in the privacy of my room rather than AFTER the spinal...and for the record....I felt NOTHING. Well, I didnt feel pain, it was just say, odd. It was embarrassing and I was very unsure of exactly what I was going to feel, but it was nothing - no big deal. The lone nurse in the room was a pro and I was done in no time

And for the record, I had my c-section and had no problems. The week after was a bit much b/c it was hard to move and get around, but walking helped with the soreness and I think speeded up my recovery.

Lastly tho - modestly in and of itself, goes out the window. You gotta do what you gotta do - as long as its not in front of the neighbors, but say a female health professional, your mom or you dh - well - you gotta do what you gotta do - or let someone else do for you LOL!!!!!!!!!

(I used my mom, my dh was a wimp - he nearly passed out when they went in after the baby ROFL...he was like "he's in there up to his elbow")

too funny

I had the priviledge of being pampered. The nurses were in there with me to do the catheter and there wasn't a lot of activity in the room. I was in there a while before the surgeons and helpers and whoever came in. And I had no pain with my c-sects either. But I did have one natural birth, totally natural, and I will take it over the c-sect any day.
