Yeah, you obviously haven't read my previously history, else you'd know I've been very critical of cops in the past.

Read the Eric Garner thread, I had a long argument about that situation, along with a situation in Texas.

This is completely different. This guy was NOT cuffed, he was RESISTING and trying to keep the officers from doing their lawful duty. The cops were trying to put cuffs on the guy and he wasn't letting them.

Again, had this guy been subdued and the officer was punching him, THAT is abuse.

But this wasn't that.

Re: Police Raining Haymakers

In THIS situation:

After the police caught up with the suspect, a news helicopter captured footage of a deputy appearing to punch him several times in the ribs and head. The news station reports that the officer may have thrown as many as 15 punches.

Submission holds are taught, but when Eric Garner said he couldn't breathe...

then they stood there and watched him pretty much die in front of them...

smh

HE WAS RESISTING! He wasn't subdued. He was disobeying their instructions while they were trying to lawfully arrest him. He was NOT cuffed. He was NOT subdued.

You stick up for a guy beating up a girl, causing injuries, and condemn another guy for trying to subdue a grown man who was resisting.
