PO Rick Perry is just out of his element. He had more appeal as the sitting TX gov, than the former TX gov. He's being overshadowed by Carly, Santorum, and Jindal.

But I will say this, he's better than Lindsay Graham.

We probably should combine this thread with the late night debate thread.

I have no idea why Lindsay is in the race. LOL!

I agree that Perry had a lot more appeal in Texas. I always did admire his capability with retail politics. It is very easy for him to speak to people one on one. Today, he seems almost a little hysterical on the debate stage. However, he is hitting some important issues concerning Trump - Single Payer Trump has favored, currying favor with Democrats through donations, which he didn't deny last night, and other issues that are not Conservative. You might remember his answer about whether or not he has ever repented. That was so lame, I was embarrassed for him.

Trump's advantage is that the GOP Establishment is totally out of favor.

Which brings us to the reality of the election - Trump and Cruz have the same base, and the voters will begin to see that Cruz offers everything Trump taps into, plus the consistent record. - https://www.conservativereview.com/C...ump-last-night

If the country is tapped into reality tv, which is projected into interaction on social media, they might like the circus and not notice anything but Trump. We shall see.
