Re: The Greek Default
I knew I had read something that David Wilkerson had spoken of about an impending disaster beginning with a European country. Thanks for researching it for me ND!

Re: The Greek Default
The new deadline for Greece is Sunday. If they do not make a deal by then, they will default. That means, according to this prophecy, that July 26th will be the beginning of the US economic collapse. Monday, July 27th, would be the day the banks will be overrun and they will declare a holiday.

Re: The Greek Default
We've been attending a home church for the past few months, and the pastor's wife there told us that months ago God impressed her to start preparing for rough times ahead. This past weekend she showed my wife their garage, which is filled, and I mean half the garage is filled, with bottled water, food, backpacks and other items.
I trust and believe God is going to take care of His people, much like He did while the children of Israel lived in Goshen, but it's still a bit scary having young ones.

How did God take care of Noah? Or Joseph and his family during the seven year famine?
There is ZERO "conflict" between "God will take care of his people" and "get prepared".

Re: The Greek Default
The debt crisis Puerto Rico has a greater impact on the bond market than Greece does. The artificial economy China has made has dropped by 25% and will likely drop even more. That problem also impacts the USA more than Greece.
If the prophecy has no time frame associated with it, how do we know this stage of the Greek crisis is the bottom ? Seems vague to me.

I believe the Lord still speaks, leads and guides today.

I believe that the Lord is mightily able to take care of His children no matter what situations they face. And we do need to be careful to heed His voice as He leads us.
Food storage is never a bad idea, in moderation, because a natural disaster could be at your doorstep at any given moment.
On the other hand... while the Lord told the children of Israel to take as much the gold and jewelry out of Egypt as they could, He never told them to take food storage.
So, it is important to listen to what the Lord speaks to our hearts. He always has a purpose, and a plan, and while we may not understand, we need to be obedient.

Re: The Greek Default
Greece got a deal and avoided default, thank God.
Greece is an example of what left-wing, liberal, socialist policies will cause. For the liberals on here who believe in big government, a welfare state, etc, look at the mess it's created there.
Greece may have been bailed out, again, but it's not a permanent solution. In fact, the articles I've read claim it does nothing to help Greece get out of the debt they're in. It delays the inevitable. Greece will default again some day. And this bailout will make that default, and the resulting collapse, even worse.

Re: The Greek Default
You just can't even imagine what is going on over in Greece.
