The irony about the slave situation, is that the majority of those sold as slaves were done so by their own fellow countrymen in Africa. Fellow blacks were selling their own people as slaves. It wasn't like the "white man" was coming there and just grabbing people off the streets.
I'm not condoning it - in any way, shape or form mind - simply pointing out that slavery was not a racist thing.
As for your bolded quote, I'm unclear what you're inferring. Are you saying the Apostolic church has something to repent of concerning racism? Or are you saying that we should be the source of this healing?
