The Titus passage is parallel to the Timothy passage. Therefore, comparing the two has merit. The role of women in the use of spiritual gifts in the church is also of merit. That is why I compare prophesying with teaching. They are both public oral gifts. Both are affected by the "silent" rule of 1 Tim. 2:12.

Brother Pitta don't you see that in one verse women aren't to teach men, and in the other women are to instruct younger women?

Paul distinctly said otherwise. You make these statements but don't deal with Paul's words that took Eve's deception as a basis for saying women can't teach men, and ignore them. Can't do that, brother.

I'm 53. Anyway, please explain what Paul meant in my quote from him.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
So Brother Pitta what does it mean when the Apostle said that he wanted women to be silent?

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I don't understand why Paul made the statements he made in 1 Tim. 2:11-15.
Since Paul makes it clear that women can prophecy and teach, and this is the opposite of what is said in 1 Tim. 2:11-15, I stick to what is clear until the time comes when I understand what the Timothy passage means.

Your compass is badly BROKEN
Apparently you don't know the diff between the Offices in the Ministry; the ministering of the
Church to the Church through the gifts of the Holy Spirit; or the ministry of the Church to the lost.
Different Brethren have spoken truth ntpo you on this thread, and you have chosen to stop your
ears and close your eyes: spewing words out of context with content.

It's women teaching men that's wrong. So you're incorrect about saying there's no difference between men and women in ministry. Paul said there was and used the first man and woman as his basis . There's an issue of truth in regards to a woman who was deceived. .. led from truth. ... that moved Paul to say that. It seems your conclusions contradict Paul, which makes you say you can't understand that point he made. Just find a solution by obviously changing your conclusions to one that allows for all he said. Not some of his words. Women can teach, just other women, but not men.
Teach youth and kids. Just not men. I see no problem there.
Prophesying is not teaching. Prophesying is inspired speaking -- words of encouragement fitly spoken for a certain moment. There's lots of forms of inspired speaking aside from teaching. Teaching is instructing spiritual living.
