Please note that Jesus (in the singular) is the head of EVERY (plural) man, but the man (singular) is the head
of the woman (singular)!
How this: Any man who ALLOWS another man to be the head of his wife "...dishonors his head...": and ANY
man that allows another man to be his head, save the Lord, "...dishonors his head..."!
That is not to say that we dishonor the Ministry.

Excuse me, but I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me.

Jesus --> Man --> Wife
Funny how there is no pastor in that equation, yet some think there is.

Of course it is speaking of "headship" (authority). The Ministry is not called to be anyone's authority,
save their own wives: they are called to minister the WORD to the church. If there seems to be
any authority in the Ministry, it is through the preaching of the anointed Word; and it (authority in
the Ministry) is in direct proportion to their (the Ministry's) obedience to scripture.
Needless to say, the wife's faith also lays in direct proportion to her submision to HER OWN HUSBAND!

I agree with you on the first point, but on the last.... Oh, do I know that all too well! I've had my Jesus spankings over it, too! I will never forget the Lord telling me I did not trust Him because I did not trust the husband He gave me. OUCH!

Re: Equally saved: But not equal
This teaching does nothing for me as a single, never-married, middle-aged, adult female with a job, a mortgage and a life. And if my late father were alive, he would be dead-set against me sitting under his headship. He made me go away to college so I would stand up on my own two feet.
Seriously, not everyone gets married, not everyone has children. Why these blanket qualifications of the chain of salvation??

Not sure why it doesn't apply to you. Nor do I see where anyone placed blanket qualifications on salvation here.
thephnxman put it simply: Are you a Christian? Obey the Lord.
