No world superpower has ever done that. Especially when in God's Providence it has been their lot to govern the nations. with all due respect, people should do what they feel is right; and for those who think the best way is to try to change the world, i wish you the best. I even read that this pov will be inevitable; but i note that we have a Scriptural formula for it--in Exodus, i believe--that is inevitably impossible to corporately follow. Bush predicting the rise of IS, and then the next administration funding it--over, say, a border fence to the south, which Bush also "predicted" by signing it into law--just strikes me as what you are going to get, going down that road.

Scripture seems to clearly tell me that people choose a king to reject God.
