I read Chris Kyle's book, American Sniper. He said they found WMD when he was overseas. I'd have to find the part in the book again to quote it, which I don't have time to do right now.

They did find WMD's in Iraq, just not in the quantities they expected. I wonder if they managed to smuggle them out of the country prior to the invasion. I mean, we know Saddam not only had chemical weapons, he used them against his own people (the gassing of the Kurds).

All true, but the truth has been lost to the narrative that W was just a warmonger.
He was going off the same intelligence that Clinton had and the left used to back any move on Saddam he might take. I have a list of quotes from the prominent democrats all saying Saddam had WMD's and needed to be stopped.
