Yeah. The "clearance" story, looking at the Facebook page and all of the other functions posted all over the web, is pretty funny. It's 2 am. I'm going to bed.

Cause he said that the DR said he the genetic marker for heart disease was gone. Then 9 years later he has open heart surgery. So I am either confused or he is a liar.

I am NOT...let me repeat this... I am NOT a LS worshiper!!!
However, his so-called testimony aside, what he said at the end is truth and I applaud the Word of truth spoken.
Can we not look at a positive side to this and pray the Word takes root in someone's heart? To rehash HMH and the wives of bin Laden and whether he was truly healed or not is neither fruitful or productive in the realm of the Spirit.
What would happen if we all stopped pointing out again and again his misrepresentations of this and that and focused on united prayer for the hearers of the Word?
Just wondering...

A lying preacher loses all credibility in my book and should in anyones book who is a christian. Lying over the pulpit isnt productive in the realm of the spirit.

I have heard backslidden preachers preach the truth of the Word and see results...the credibility is in THAT...not in the man.

At least they are preaching the truth and not embellishing supposed miracle stories. Why is this ok with you? Lets say someone in the crowd wants to accept his message and looks Stoneking up and finds that his miracle was a lie?

You can call this foolishness if you want to. It's there for all to see and I haven't seen a valid reason or justification for it that would change my view that it was deliberately misleading. Drumming up an explanation for a lie after the fact didn't work with my pop and doesn't work with me.
What would be really cool would be something, somewhere, anything, that explained this before it was caught 18 months into it.
Now I am seeing what anyone caught in a lie would do, a damage control story that is not holding up based on what other faiths and denominations in the same room can do.
When someone caught in a lie is collaborating with someone else who has been caught in another lie it smells. These people represent you, in this case to the world, and they look and act slimy, in this case to no gain but to inflate themselves and exaggerate what they are doing. Small wonder it's an embarrassment and you all just want the discussion of it to "go away". I would too.
