1 Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
Romans 8:3-4 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: (4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
1 Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

So true!
The Spirit is the best ruler, and guide to live by, not a set of man's laws and traditions, which like the Pharisees, only served to breed hypocritical attitudes. When the Spirit is directing and leading a person's life, they can be convicted of something by the Spirit, that may not be evil in its own right, but be bad for THEM. Which is why we MUST walk in the Spirit, and be led by the Spirit in
all we do.
