Angels reproducing with humans possible?

The Laws of Creation cannot be altered or broken.

The evil spirits would have to defy the "Laws of Creation". Angels were also
created, therefore they are also subject to these laws. No angel (faithful or
fallen) has seed in itself to reproduce "...after its kind..."; nor do they have that
need, since they are not mortal (subject to physical death).

Anything more than that is only speculation.

how do you characterize the Scriptural accounts of giants/nephilim then, one must wonder. Prolly already covered in this thread, sorry if i missed yours.

FIRST: "Scriptural accounts" are not necessarily accounts in scripture!

Personally, I define scriptural accounts as (1) that which can be established by its
intention, context, and/or by the mouth of two witnesses or three; and (2) that
which will not contradict sound doctrine or the "Laws of Creation".
All scripture is true and valid for building faith; but not all scriptures are meant
to be mirror images of sound doctrine. The "nephylim" were offspring of men
that served God, and the daughters of men that did not serve God:i.e.; the
seed of Seth, and the seed of Cain.

This offspring were of strong character, self-willed, and who sought
after their own glory.

hmm, then how might the giants--obviously connected to the "nephilim" originally occupying the other side of the Jordan in the Wanderings--have occurred, in this model? Ty

I already displayed disagreement with angelic reproduction with women, but there are all sorts of reasons why there would be giants on the other side of Jordan aside from being children of angels.

Every question has numerous possible answers. None of these prove the issue at hand.

well, interesting! i'll have to read through this thread, i guess. i dropped out for quite a while. i just assumed that the "sons of God, coming in to the daughters of men" begat giants, Goliath, Nephilim, whatever. Didn't realize that there was any alternate view, ty.

The thought is highly connected to the BOOK OF ENOCH which gets into really bizarre nonsense, which is actually the basis for the recent NOAH movie.

Exactly, and our Lord will verify that very thing.....Mark 12:25

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Angels cannot marry wives as our Lord has said....

well, we are talking about the ones kicked out of heaven tho, right? so, how do you interpret the last line there? or rather, i'm sure this has already been hashed out in earlier pages...but if anyone has a simple, one-sentence--or one-word, even--answer, i'll take it!
