Happy Birthday, President Reagan

President Ronald Reagan would have been 104 today. He was the last great American President, and it is unlikely there will ever be another like him.

Re: Happy Birthday, President Reagan

Reagan was great. He was a true supporter of poor oppressed freedom fighters in Afghanistan, shipped really kool stuff like "insecticide precursors" to the oppressed Iraqis to use on those troublesome Kurds, and arranged shipment of arms to the Iranians. He left 2 decades of gifts for us to enjoy. It only took a measly 2 full scale wars to clean up behind Reagan. May this true American Hero rest in peace! He represents what all good conservative christians stand for.........spray and pray and let God sort it all out.

Hopefully those who follow him will use better judgement because I am not sure the country can afford to clean up behind another president like him.

Re: Happy Birthday, President Reagan

Exceeding even North Korea in percentage of population behind bars certainly is a great achievement - all thanks to the war on drugs. A great man who left behind a great legacy. I voted for 'em too. I want to share the credit! The defense and prison industry, all funded on the backs of the taxpayers, are job creation machines! Deregulating the financial markets was a brilliant move as well. Who says you have to BUILD anything to add value to something when you can trade it, borrow against it, and margin it?

Did i ever show you that pic of Rumsfield shaking hands with old Saddam? He was so young back then too......shipping all that stuff to Saddam was a great judgement call by a great man!

Re: Happy Birthday, President Reagan

We should stop and take some time to celebrate some of the finer moments of the Reagan presidency.

"The Moral Equivalent of Our Founding Fathers" - Muslims can't pray at the National Cathedral without you people squealing about it but the Taliban can sure share the White House with Reagan can't they.
