I recommend writing our own. Most of the tracts I passed out for many years were written by a sister in the Lord I knew. It was rather short and to the point.

But its as always be led of the Spirit.

Re: Gospel tracts?

Doctrinal tracts also played a role in my life. After 4 years among the Evangelical-Trinitarian-Pentecostal-Charismatic groups my wife visited an Apostolic Bible study.

She told me about it and at first I think I resisted it a bit. Then they gave her some tracts about Oneness, water baptism, and the new birth.

I read them and felt myself very drawn. I continued reading and after some real longing for truth came to see that they were more in line with the truth in those areas than Evangelicals.

So yes doctrinal tracts can also be effective.

When I first met my to be husband, he was a deacon in a large trinity church. He accepted one of our church bulletins that had Our Beliefs on the back. He started his own bible study from those scriptures...searching to know the truth. Thank God, he was rebaptized in Jesus Name a month later and we were married 6 months after that!

Amen! And after all, what is a tract? Is it not a small version of a book?
