What I have seen is that New Calvinism is considered worldly. Think, like when a UPC church allows wedding bands. That kind of reaction.

I feel we are predestinated based on the sovereign knowledge of God. I still believe it's His will for all to be saved. I do not believe that Grace, even when predestinated, is irresistible.

What does that even mean? Based on knowledge?

You believ that it's God's will for ALL to be saved, yet not everyone will be saved. So, God's will isn't done.

The 'New Calvinists' generally tend to relegate their Calvinism to salvation alone. The Reformed/Calvinists (Old) tend to have a much more rigorously comprehensive covenantal view that affects all aspects of life. Read Abraham Kuyper's Stone lectures.

I'll have to check that out. I have seen a few mention something about covenants. I didn't follow.

That article bites off to much to digest and isn't completely factual. To say that John McArthur promotes anything remotely Charismatic is pure folly!
