Re: Islamic Prayers at the Vatican
You said that if both a jew and a musil was asked wether or not Jesus was the son of God and if He died on the cross they would both answe the same thing ( see post #245).
In response i asked if they would both point to their holy book to support their claim (see post 247).
To which you responded:
That doesn't matter. Facts are facts. They deny Him. (see post 253)
To which I responded:
Yes it does. If I want to know if thier God is the same as mine instead of simply listening to what the people say I should look at what thier God says. Wouldn't you agree?
The question is not weather or not the people deny Him but weather thier god denies Him. (see post 254)
This is the what you are not answering I am not asking weather the people groups (jews , muslims) deny that Jesus is the son of GOD or wether He died on the cross. The question is what does their respective God say. For this we have have to look at their holy book.
Since we know and i already posted the passages from the quran that denies that Jesus was the son of God and that He died on the cross. This leaves on other holy book to question.
So would the Jewish Holy Book specificly deny that Jesus was the Son of God and that He died on the cross?
Please answer the underlined bolded question.

Re: Islamic Prayers at the Vatican
The Holy Spirit will make very plain when Christ has actually been denied; and it is not in what someone else says they believe. That is merely..the same thing you have--the words that represent some specific mental image of God, as seen through your filter, and affected by your evolving understanding--not the same today as yesterday, etc.)

Read some Matthew Fox--you don't have to agree with every word. Don't even like read the words, so much as get the feel of it. God won't let you go astray if you are seeking Him. Jesus was and is God. Ah so you beleive that we should instead of simply taking scripture at face value we should look for deeper meanings by spiritualizing the text. Much like Origen taught.

By reading and studying the Bible alone would I find that there are many ways to Heaven? In other words would your beliefs pass the sola scripture test?

hmm, i don't think that is a fair characterization. More like relate your experience to Scripture, thereby validating It. I mean, you are doing this right now anyway

Do you believ that the bible is the absolute truth thereby making it the standard whereby to judge everything else?

well, you say "many ways" because possibly you have been conditioned to exclude based upon manipulatable appearances instead of include based upon spiritual principles. Parsing the words of his answer to that question, whatever it may be, will not get you any closer to whether Allah is God for a believer that will be accepted by God or not.
