I tried that.. Didn't work out too well.. Just made things worse...

I'll be living either with my grandparents, or my girlfriend and her family if we get married.
EDIT: Her parents agreed to allowing me to stay there at 17 if we are engaged.

Why do her parents want their daughter to be engaged so young?
Why do you want to be engaged so young?
Has ANYONE told you that this might not be the best idea for you?
Have you spoken with your Pastor about your desire to leave home right now or at the age of 17 to either move in with your Grandparents or move in with your fiancee?
How about a high school guidance counselor?
If you don't speak with your Pastor BEFORE you make a very bad decision, there is a very good chance that one day you will find yourself... living in a van down by the river.

Hello Jacob, I would like to say that I would not normally address this subject with someone else's child but the statement above causes me great concern. If you are in an "at risk" environment you need to tell someone. Talk to your Pastor or to another trusted adult. I will be praying for you.
