He can't help it. His father was a liar from the beginning, and he's simply doing the work of his father. As for his prophecy skills, well...he didn't discern that Crakjack was a dude...and Timmy is still waiting for his prophesied date with the reaper. I feel sorry for him...but not the spirit that has a hold of him. Sad, cuz there is help available.
