I Refuse To Be Baptized Into Your Church!

Have you ever went to a church that before they would let you become a member, you had to be baptized AGAIN into their CHURCH?
I have and it's something that I absolutely refuse to do. I've been baptized into Jesus Christ and belong only to His church and no other. I understand becoming a member of a church so that your name, address and phone number are on record to other members, etc. but not having to be baptized again.
What does everyone else think about this?

When we left UPC and went to the Assemblies, we told them our background. it has never been an issue and that will be 7 years ago next month.

That's the way it should be all around.

I've heard of people who have been baptized in the titles being told they should be baptized in the Name, but I've never heard of someone already previously baptized being told they have to be re-baptized to join the church.

Why did you leave the church God started you at.....
When I read a blanket statement " I absolutely refuse"
I think rebellion .....
Why not when faced with something you don't understand just say that I don't understand and let the pastor who is telling you what you must do explain it to you......he may not have wanted you to be baptized at all ,but only wanted to check your spirit or to see how confident you were in your first baptism.....???

That would be a pastor playing games not to mention lying and manipulative.

When I was baptized, in my heart I was baptized into God who is Jesus Christ. I was not baptized into a man nor a church and I feel that NO MAN has the right to tell me where my heart was at the time I was baptized. God knows and only He knows the heart and brain and how to correct any problems along the way. I take my problems to Him, I do not seek advice from mankind for the things that are wrong in my life. I've always come out ahead by doing this.
