14 minutes, but if you don't listen to anything else on the subject, Levin nails it.
Mark Levin’s EPIC monologue puts the government shutdown in proper perspective

These dummies voting to try to fund national parks while DEFENSE workers are stopped form showing up for work...God help us...no one has any sense in priorities. I don't care if they never open these national parks up. Let them be run by private firms instead of the Fed.

It's important that these narrow funding bills or mini-CRs are brought to a vote. It puts the spotlight on how the Democrats are refusing to negotiate.
Active-duty military, civilian defense personnel, reserve personnel, civilian personnel and contractors working during shutdown, Coast Guard and support members of the Armed Forces will be getting paid throughout this shutdown.
CRUZ: Now we did see something good happen yesterday, which is we saw the Senate unanimously pass a bill funding the men and women of our military. The House had passed it, Harry Reid had been threatening to stop it. And for weeks, Harry Reid and President Obama had been saying they were going to cut off the paychecks of the men and women of our military if there was a shutdown. I’m glad Reid paused. He blinked. And in fact, I praised him on the floor of the Senate, Hugh. I said he did the right thing. But now, he needs to do the right thing with the other areas that President Obama is cutting funding for. You know, yesterday, President Obama gave a speech where he talked about not paying Border Patrol agents, closing the national parks, closing much of the VA, closing much of NASA, and I think the House should do exactly what it’s doing, to send over continuing resolutions funding each of those priorities, and let’s see if Harry Reid is willing to tell veterans he wants to close the VA, because I’ll tell you, I want to open the VA. Republicans want to open the VA. And the only reason it might stay closed in significant respect is if Harry Reid decides to force it closed.

Re: BREAKING: The House has voted to Delay ObamaCa
Bills to fund Vets, parks and DC failed Tuesday because they didn't get a 2/3 vote, but they did get a majority vote. Today, these bills will be re-introduced, needing only a simple majority to pass.
And I would put out a reminder here - Forcing Obamacare on the people is the real issue here, it's not the government shutdown.

Re: BREAKING: The House has voted to Delay ObamaCa
Not Actually a Shutdown
So little changes that the DOJ says it’s “an entirely inaccurate description.”
Senator Harkin was correct when he claimed that “we are at one of the most dangerous points in our history right now.” But the danger doesn’t come from a temporary lapse in government funding. The danger comes from implementing a shoddy, burdensome, expensive program to nationalize healthcare and refusing to reduce out-of-control spending that is hurrying our nation down the road to financial ruin.

Re: BREAKING: The House has voted to Delay ObamaCa
“What the president is imposing on us today is NOT the Affordable Care Act”
MCCAUGHEY: I have the Obama health law right here in front of me and I think about how different what the president’s health reform today is from that law. I hear the Democrats say all the time ‘well it was passed by Congress, it was signed by the president and it was vetted by the Supreme Court.’ But what the president is imposing on us today is not the Affordable Care Act.
LEVIN: Stop! Stop! That is a very important point. Wait a minute, Congress passed, the president signed, the Supreme Court upheld…and your point is since then Obama has changed the law and nobody and nothing has passed on that. Brilliant!
MCCAUGHEY: Oh yes exactly. He has stripped the employer mandate, income verification, caps on out of pocket expenses, over half the statutory deadlines in the law. So now he’s had this very distorted little piece of the Affordable Care Act and he’s tacked new things onto it, 1472 waivers. And how about this new subsidy for members of Congress that he weaseled through without congressional approval. All of this means that this reform doesn’t have the status of law.

I'm still trying to figure out why the House Republicans didn't vote someone else in as Speaker. I'm not at all surprised that the Democrats would leak this, nor am I surprised that Boehner waffled on the issue. He has a history of waffling.

This really reflects the huge and growing divide between the Conservative Republicans and the GOP Establishment.

President Obama is set to meet with Congressional leaders at 5:30PM to discuss the Shutdown. Guess they put some pressure on his Imperial Highness.
