Why don't you alert CNN to this incident to determine whether your 'speculative conclusion' is correct? Maybe they are unaware of it.
If you have ever watched CNN you have to know a story like this does not fit their narrative when it comes to guns.
CNN is an extremely liberal media outlet who make no pretense of offering objective coverage. Not just with their commentators, which one would expect, but with their hard news operation.
As far as alerting CNN goes let me say GOOD GRIEF!!!!. They are an international news outlet with the ability to see every news story published in any major media outlet throughout the world. I hardly think they need any of us to alert them a story like this.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I shouldnt ask.... how did an 18 year old become a widow?
Apparently through the death of her husband.

I read a bit more... he was 58ish? they started living together when she was 15. got married a few months before he died.
lets focus on the positive.... how she shot a badguy dead in his tracks.
So you are saying a 40 year age difference is problematic?

I wondered how long it would take for someone to change the subject from defending yourself and child from a robber to the weird side of this story which is how a 58 year old man left an eighteen year old widow with a three year old child - their child.
So start another thread with that part of the story. Hey! CNN might report that!
