We live in such an irresponsible society.
Her story is really, really sad in that she tried to be a good person, religiously speaking, but was told she was wicked, a daughter of Eve...and she believed it.

Re: Tragedy in New Albany, Indiana
A downstairs neighbor explains her acquaintance with the mother and children who were murdered. She tells how religious they were, and how just before the deaths that the mother did nothing but talk about the "End Days". She also states, the young boy kept trying to get her to come to Thursday night Bible Study, where they show a film. Below is the link to the neighbor’s interview, and under the link is information taken directly from Irvin Baxter’s website, showing the time and day of the "Endtime" service this family attended.
It also commonly known, Irvin Baxter’s material is bent with fear tactics and manipulation about the unseen, and he is one of the only Apostolics to be interviewed on “Art Bell’s/George Noory's” Coast to Coast late evening talk show, where fear is the main ingredient to keep listeners coming back for more.
My daughter worked a late night job for 4 years, and she started listening to this broadcast on Coast to Coast. She had nightmares, became extremely fearful, and found herself depressed after listening to this show (link at bottom).
Fear is the age old method of keeping people subdued with an idea, and we may find, that fear and spectral pressure was the main ingredient that led to this tragedy.

They were murdered? Do they know by who?

It's being treated as a triple homicide, or a possible murder suicide. The children who were found in the creek naked, showed no signs of struggle or abuse. This is a very important part of this case, as anyone who is physically drowning or is being drown by another person would show signs of desperate struggle.
The mother, who was also found naked and dead, according to the eye witnesses who found the bodies said the mother’s body appears to be beat up with cuts. Later statements from the Media didn’t confirm this, and other reports state that the mother showed no signs of struggle or abuse. Toxicology test are being done on the mother and the results haven’t been released yet.
Their clothes, a baby harness-type carrier and Bible were found nearby.

Either way it is sad.

How sad for you, GA. I know you can't (and shouldn't!) share your opinions on here regarding this family. But thank you for letting us know that you know them so that we can pray for YOU as you sort thru your feelings.

Re: Tragedy in New Albany, Indiana
What doesn't jive with me about it possibly being a murder-suicide is that if this woman was somewhat of a religious fanatic then she would know that historically suicide is considered a sin and not something Christians do.
Of course if she was mentally ill then logic may have been thrown out the window if she was obsessing about the end times.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
