I am so relieved. My family has prayed since we seen this post. I am so happy ... Thank you God for touching this baby and healing her! What a great report! God knows what he is doing and he never fails to meet us just where we need him.!

I'm wondering if it just "hurts" for this baby to suck a bottle? It creates negative pressure and since surgery has been done recently this may be a "learned behavior"? Other than that the only other thing that comes to mind is some sort of neurological issue.

You are very welcome~ That is what AFF is for...friends here for friends  I ask you to be praying for a very urgent need within my family as well. One part of this request is for a situation on the job for my husband, and another part of the need is for our daughter. There is a part of my prayer request that is urgent and unspoken that I need God to do for my family also. I am trusting God to move right now for what I have asked of Him in Jesus Name. Thank you my friend! Have a very blessed day~

Thanks for your thoughts. We have wondered the same thing, but she loves her pacifier more than anything, and sucks on it. You would think she wouldn't want to suck anything if that were the case?
She is still eating okay, but not well. I talked to my sister yesterday evening. It is still a struggle to get her to eat. She is just not very interested in eating at all, but loves her pacifier. The pediatrician says she has never experienced anything like this in all her years of practice, and all her tests run so far have come back negative. It remains a mystery, and we are hoping that when she gets her glasses that maybe this will turn things around for her.
I appreciate your thoughts, and your prayers, they mean so much!

I will spend time in prayer for these needs today. I agree that AFF is a place where we can support, encourage, and pray one for another! You have a blessed day too!

Thank you so very much~ It is very hard for me to be patient, wait and sit still. Some things I have no idea how to do..  but I HAVE to~ I have made myself sick over worry but I know God is moving...I just have to WAIT and let HIM do what he needs to do and I KNOW he will get it done~
