Re: Signs of a Controlling Church<<<
One snowy Sunday evening, I saw an Amish buggy in a slippery WaWa parking lot -- and it was doing donuts! That poor horse didn't know which end was up...getting yanked all around. The steel wheels of that buggy were cutting through the packed snow, hitting the asphalt, and sparks were literally flying everywhere. I was pumping gas and was afeared I was gonna blow up!
There weren't no tag number on the back of that buggy, else'n I'da copied it down and given it to Emma ... she could'a straightened out them young bucks!
God Bless.

Really? That does not concern you? Are you ok with it?
11. Are marriages being broken by leadership?
12. Are people manipulated in their giving by leadership?
Really? Bro Epley, surely you don't approve of marriages being broken by anyone right? Surely you believe giving should be from a giving willing heart and not by manipulation?

I badly worded my reply I meant I was in agreement with his assessment of a controlling church with those to exceptions like I listed them. Sorry.

No one is saved outside the APOSTOLIC CHURCH.

You know very little, if anything, about the blood of the Lamb of God. The "APOSTOLIC CHURCH" didn't die for your sins, isn't the Son of God nor the redeemer. Also, your romanist religious system with it's building you promote as the Church isn't the Church.
Why reject the sufficiency of the Lamb of God for redemption and promote the idea that a building is the Church of the Living God? Does the romanist system have that strong of hold on you?

The positive outcome to a disappointing situation, does NOT prove the Pastor was RIGHT. It just shows how God can turn a sad situation around and heal a man's broken heart and spirit- by sending him a precious lady to love him...

Sadly, I can relate to this!! I know of a family one time, that actually ASKED the Pastor to come sit through a modelling marathon- one of their daughter parading her entire wardrobe before this man- just so he could tell her which were acceptable, and which were NOT. *sigh*
The pastor should have declined the invitation, in my opinion....

Jesus died to purchase the church( Acts 20:28) The new birth places you into the Lord's body or church. There is ONE body. ONLY folks in that ONE body are saved. Even Romans have to be in that ONE body.
Speaking of the romanist system you never did answer if you had an Xmas tree?
