Cindy, I love a wide swath of people & count a lot of people of different denominations my friends.
Having said that, I have also found that my walk with God is a personal walk with God & that I have to walk with him no matter what anyone else does or does not do in regards to serving God.
I have found though that the pendulum swings both ways in condeming people, libs to cons & vice versa!
Your point about loving people is valid & I think people can disagree doctrinally while loving people as Christ loved.
Just my 2 cents worth.
BTW, The penny is being fased out this year in Canada.

I agree, and I wasn't just talking about cons vs libs. It seems to be in both categories. As a matter of fact I find it prevalent in society as a whole. And that is what makes me sad, we have become like the world in our hearts. So much negativity and separation among us.

I agree with Ron's comments, but also wasn't sure if you were speaking about cons v. libs. It is prevalent in society as a whole. I view that in light of Matthew 24:12 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."

The Government says that they are losing money on the penny. It costs 1.4 cents to make a one cent coin.
When the penny goes, everything cash will be rounded up or down to the nearest 5 cents. Everything that is electronic based like interac will stay the same eg. 11.93 will stay the same.
We are being prepared slowly for the mark of the beast!

Interesting. I'm not sure what I think about the "mark" of the Beast. Is it an actual mark or a governmental entity?

I think it is all about "CONTROL!" That is what I admire about the Americans & the rugged individuality, but sadly that is becoming an historical footnote.
Take for example Sandy Hook & the shooting that happened there, it was terrible & shouldn't have happened but to make it a cause celebre for gun control is a bit week.
On that day 76-80 Million American kids went to school safe-that is a 99.9999999% safety record.
The powers that be want to disarm Americans because a disarmed populace is easier to control.
Not that I am advocating everybody buy a gun, I am just looking at the factors behind gun control & what the real aim of the Government is in your life.
