Yup. I had a theory a few years ago that the only thing bigger than Jerry's ego was his love of making money and prestige.
That made me think that after a certain amount of years of running the team into the ground by being the General Manager and the behind the scenes coach his dismay at the team going down the drain would win over his ego of wanting to run it and he would back off. I was wrong. Very wrong.
Over a decade later he still mistakenly thinks he can run a team personally even though the only Superbowl they have gone to since he fired Jimmy Johnson was Barry Switzer just coasting on what JJ had put in place. It all fell apart after that year and has gone downhill since.
On top of Jerry's meddling Tony Romo is NOT going to lead them to the promise land. He has flashed of brilliance but no consistency. Can't win when it counts.
