That would be a pretty good reason.
It is one thing to leave a Church with a good or bad spirit, it is totally another thing when one tries to persuade others behind the scenes to follow you.

Sometimes it is bigger than the LOCAL assembly, and a preacher that is very well known, may call for further reaching communication. Talking about these things among other believers is not gossip. Gossip could enter into it, but just because folks talk about the facts, doesn't constitue gossip.

Talking about it only inflames the situation & causes one to go on just one side of the facts.
This is why I said that there seemes to be a lynch mob mentality ongoing--that's what they use to do in the lynch mobs of the past.

True, the man was not merely a local preacher, He was nationally known and a speaker at conferences with a certain reputation
