I believe the Apostle Peter, so yes, I believe baptism saves....



1Peter 3:20    Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

1Peter 3:21    The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Would you please explain how baptism saves a person? My personal view is that baptism saves no one. Since you do believe baptism saves, I'd be interested in what exactly what happens during baptism which saves a person.

Let's see, I've asked you numerous questions, offered textual-exegetical evidence of my position(s), carefully documented my sources....& all you've done is offer Red Herrings & smoke screens ??

Tell us, for the third time now, must a person *repent* to be saved, yes or no:__________?

And, all I did was post a biblical passage affirming water baptisms role in salvation. You are so busy frantically pacing up & down (because it counters your soteriology) that you have yet to understand that I am simply allowing the text to define itself & feel no need to improve upon God's Word.

It's quite liberating...Ought to try it sometime !
