What issues have not been discussed here?

What issues have not been discussed here?

Have there been intellectual exchanges on the issues of human depravity? What about whether or not Christians should serve in the military and take part in active duty?

Has there been a discussion about Christianity and war?

Should the church get involved with stopping human trafficking?

How about a discussion on how to deal with people who struggle with sexual addictions?

Like most Apostolic web sites, it appears as though the only issues that seem to take center stage are arguments over whether or not to own/watch a TV, or women having long hair, or men having beards, etc.

I think God has bigger fish to fry other than petty "holiness" issues, and we need to focus more on social issues and how to minister to the plight of human pain.

The cool thing about forums is if you feel something needs to be discussed you can just start a thread about it or you can start a thread a just complain about it.

Problem is that the church is not a light unto the world because they have so many petty issues among them. There may be some churches out there who actually minister to the plight of human pain....but I haven't seen any OP churches in this region that do.

One church got all upset with me because I mentioned mixed race couples coming there.

They couldn't deal with people bringing that type of thinking into "their church". I saw nothing wrong with mixed race families...they did.

Re: What issues have not been discussed here?

Dante, when you've been around here as long as some of us - some of us have been thru 3 or 4 name changes even! - you will realize THERE IS NOTHING we haven't discussed at one time or another.

Want to talk recipes? done that!

Want to talk underwear? done that too!

How about showing off your Christmas tree? yep, done that.

Oh and talking about women cutting their hair, dying their hair, having magic hair or even just talking about hair accessories? done all that too.

Can you think of anything we haven't already discussed? Maybe the size of an average elephant. We could talk about that if you'd like.

Whatever it is you want to talk about tho, go ahead. Start a thread. We're here for you. Your very own personal group therapy session

I will, Marge. Thanks for the advice. I just don't want to rehash the same arguments. That is all.
