Forget the debate over whether everybody here is Apostolic, there are times when I wonder if we are Christian. I don't think any topic or debate gives reason to be caustic or dismissive to a brother or sister...but that's just me. I tend to just not engage people like that and life goes on.
oh come on stew you need to roll around in the mud a little with us , personally like Michael Irvin "im amazed at the magnitude of me"

I do think a lot of people see this is a sideline issue. Sadly. As long as they are filled with the Holy Ghost and have been baptized in Jesus' name, apparently being Christlike isn't all that important.

People tend to do that when they run out of intelligent arguments, IMO.

Well I think there is plenty to argue and debate without going ugly. I said the "stupid" thing a while back and apologized and stopped saying it. But to insinuate an African American needs to go to the back of the bus is way over the line.

When a newspaper posed the question, "What's Wrong with the World?" G. K. Chesterton reputedly wrote a brief letter in response: "Dear Sirs: I am. Sincerely Yours, G. K. Chesterton." That is the attitude of someone who has grasped the message of Jesus.
As that paragon of virtue Rodney King once said "can't we all just get along!?"
It does nothing to promote one's position to insult others. As my mama always said "two wrongs don't make a right!". If you resort to name calling you are as intellectually dishonest and maybe worse so than the person you are disagreeing with.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Well now that you all have deleted one of the posts that prompted my post, I sound like I was overreacting to nothing...
LOL!!!! It deserved to be deleted and now, since we're talking about it, there's at least SOME context.

I agree. Most of us have lost our tempers here and there and had to apologize....
