14 dead, at least 50 injured in shooting at...

"At least 14 people have been killed and up to 50 injured after a mass shooting at a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" at a suburban Denver movie theater, police"

Absolutely horrifying. 13 years ago, Columbine (I have relatives in Littleton), and now this.

I believe an AFF-er lives in the area this occurred.

Praying for all...

Read this this morning. What a tragedy. Is the world getting worse or do we just hear more about it?

And people still wonder what's going on in the world today!
Jesus is the answer to all the world's problems.

Re: 14 dead, at least 50 injured in shooting at...

My daughter just told me that a woman who survived a mass shooting in Toronto a short time ago was killed in this theater attack.

Where do these nuts come from? We really are reaping what comes from a society who instills no love, values, discipline, etc in children.

Through the ages there have always been misfits with no conscience who are open to evil but in this day and age the number has multfiplied exponentially.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the dead and with those that are recovering from their injuries in the hospital.

I just saw a report on the internet that the death toll could rise as there are 5-10 critically wounded people being treated in addition to those with injuries that are not life threatening.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Yes, especially to the second part of your statement.

I am pretty sure that had the media been around during the Greek, Roman, Middle Ages, and even during the expansion into the Wild wild west (there were at least this many deaths at the Bird Cage Theater in Tombestone, AZ alone), people would think the world was going to hell in a hand basket then as well.

How incredibly sad... just wondering... where was the old man with the concealed handgun who saved people's lives just a few days ago in a cafe? Perhaps if more people carried concealed weapons, this kind of tragedy could have been a completely different story....

It is an incomprehensible thing for these poor people, those who are living to tell the story, and those who died... especially the children!

I will be spending time in prayer today for all those involved in this tragedy.
