Maybe 2 out of 10. I certainly will vote for whoever gets the nomination. But, we do have a Texas debate coming up. It's a little premature to try and end the race for the others.

And also because he is winning!! LOL

He is leading, if his numbers are bad, what does that say for Newt and Rick? Newt's numbers are so low it is wierd that we are still talking about him like he is a contenter? Hopefully, he can still have influence in the party, he does have good ideas.

Crakjack,
Voter turnout is very low and he is not winning on a large scale. He is behind where McCain was in 2008. The reason he is ahead is because the media - Fox, GOP and Drudge - are playing on the fear that he is the only candidate that can win.

Joe Scarborough was saying, which confirms other accounts I've read, that every Republican he talks to doesn't believe that Romney can win, but they won't say it on the air.

Look at all the vetting going on with Obama. We just about bled to death trying to inform people about him in 2008 and NO ONE wanted to hear it, believe it or listen. I don't have very high hopes they will do that now.

Look at this ad that Obama has out on Romney. This is exactly the same type of conversation going on, with the comparison, in the MSM. And let me tell you what, Romney's money and the smear tactics that he used against the Republican candidates are not going to work against Obama.

I really hope there are a whole lot of people that want him out of office because if there aren't, we are not going to win. And I still agree with Thomas Sowell that only a fighter and "especially" Newt is the only man that can beat Obama.

I also have to say that Romney's ruthless attacks on his fellow candidates shows that he may be able to hold his own against Obama.

And he seems like a pleasant fellow while doing it...

Yes, he does seem to be pleasant while lying about Gingrich in Florida so he could win that state. He knew the IRS stated that Gingrich didn't violate a law in that ethic violation and was cleared, but like Obama, he carried the lie into his campaign. Awful pleasant of him, wasn't it?

Re: Will Santorum and Gingrich Listen?

Exactly!!!!!!!

Quote:
Critics say RNC was in tank for Mitt Romney

The Republican National Committee was supposed to play the part of umpire in the GOP presidential primary, but some Republicans are grumbling that the committee wasn’t just calling balls and strikes.

Critics, including supporters of Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich and even neutral Republicans, argue that the national party took steps that helped tilt the contest toward Mitt Romney — an allegation that the RNC rejects but is taking very seriously.

The list of specific grievances ranges from issues that even the party acknowledges are legitimate, to those that they dismiss as desperate fixations from Romney’s flailing rivals.

Mitt's Nomination Manipulation

Many political pundits have openly discussed how damaging the protracted nomination process has been for the Republican Party and its eventual nominee. What they have ignored is the win at all cost tactics that have been employed by the Romney campaign. It’s always difficult to unite a party after a contentious primary fight, but doing so after what some may view as an unfair fight will be even more difficult.
