Yup, the focus is placed anywhere but fruit, usually.

But this characterization just toads the wet sprocket, KBTW, see what this focuses on. I am hedged from this, and do not fear this at all. It can not harm a hair on my head. It is scared of me, and Life, more abundantly. Augustine, to his dismay, has been used to forward an agenda in the Christian mind that could not even be explained cogently in the Council of Trent, and we have been parroting it ever since.

is the original, but as this website (in the url) is run by professed atheists, this article is quickly being edited out of existence now. By really well-meaning people. Judge for yourself.
My point here would be that this should be running from you, as a Christian, and should not really even be much on your radar--as heretical as that might sound. I spend my day
planting seeds, little
mustard seeds, they don't involve quoting Scripture (literally anyway), or the common idea of "leading "someone to Christ...just growing stuff. Mostly just being approachable, emotionally available.
It will run satan off, and attract people in droves. If you sin, repent, BAM, but if this is a recurring, daily thing in your life? You're planting seeds all day, and sinning too? Then I would def say take a look at that, and determine why or whatever, but that this does not characterize what Christians should be demonstrating in their everyday walk.
This leads to preparing for Armageddon, imo (I don't think I could stop this if I tried), putting up extra veggies and whatnot, just like everyone else, actually it's quite normal...
I don't know, a new Christian maybe should worry here? But no, a new Christian should be attracted by the fruit of your theology, nothing more or less, and be guided by it. Although they will surely be tested, and tempted, all that, remember back to your early temptations--you were completely aware all the way through it, you weren't unconscious or anything, and you don't do that sin now because the fruit was death.
This is our focus because we misunderstand the creative force we are supposed to be focusing on, imo, it has been suppressed.
