I've heard something about sun gazing.

First of all, it should not be done except in the early morning hours when the sun is not strong. The sun helps your pituitary gland replenish melatonin which is only released at night at bedtime for sleep.

Then one is supposed to have bare feet on the ground. Something about the magnetic field.

It doesn't mean one is worshipping the sun as god when one is doing it for health benefits.

It's like todays "medicine". Most people would rather go to the doctor to get some prescription chemical for their ailments rather than try to use the old fashion herbal and plant remedies. Sun gazing is used solely for natural biochemical purposes.

People would rather take a pill than make a change.

Actually not.

God create the sun for life giving. without the sun there would be no life. all the plants depend on the sun for life, our whole planet depends on the sun for life.

People who suffer from SAD only suffer during the winter, because there is less sunlight. The best remedy for those people is getting a sun lamp or getting a good dosage of vitamin D.

Depression is prevalent during the winter months, this depression is a factor in the high number of suicides during the winter months.
