Hair Cutting "Parties" & Amish Gone Bad
This proves Amish can be nut jobs too!
"Members of the Amish community in Ohio are being investigated by the sheriff's department after several homes were broken into and the beards and hair of fellow Amish people were chopped off.
Four different sheriff's departments - Jefferson County, Carroll County, Holmes County and Trumbull County - reported similar incidents this week involving hair cutting, with reports of groups of Amish men yanking victims out of their homes by their beards or bursting into their homes and attacking them with scissors."
"He said hair from the victims was brought back to Jefferson County to prove to Sam Mullet, the bishop of the Bergholz group, that Mullet's orders concerning the hair cutting was being followed."

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

This is what happens when people become part of a cult factor and will not adhere to good advice. There are a lot of problems in these Amish communities around the world. Here in Iowa we have a lot of them.
When I first started in law enforcement back in the mid-70's I had an Amish boy get drunk up town. He let some of the local dopers take his wagon and they later fed his horse with beer and the horse went nuts on a main street and upset the wagon and smashed it.
Later when I found this Amish subject he had urinated and threw up on himself. He was so drunk he couldn't even talk or tell me in which community area he lived.
I think if I were the in Ohio, I would have a hickory pick handle beside my bed.
I would turn the other check for the witness of Jesus, but when it comes to invading my home and putting my family in danger, well they would see the righteousness indignation of God against the tyranny of evil men.

Is this a joke? The Bishop's name is MULLET and he has ordered everyone to get the MacGyver look?

Funny thing is, they would say McGyver who? Must be the spirit then.

A weed eater would make a quick work of that!

We need to send her down there in the middle of the night. I bet when they turn their kerosene lamps up and see that, they will jump on their horses and ride for the wind.
